- Abstract
- Pojęcie zielona rewolucja określa zespół warunków oraz działań charakteryzujących postęp naukowo-techniczny i wzrost efektywności w produkcji zbóż. Autor posłużył się danymi statystycznymi obrazującymi poziom osiągniętego przez poszczególne: kraje słabo rozwinięte jak Chiny, Filipiny, Indie, Indonezje, Malezje, Meksyk, Nepal, Pakistan, kraje Unii Europejskiej oraz kraje CEFTA rozwoju ekonomicznego. Syntetycznym miernikiem rozwoju jest produkt narodowy brutto (PNB) na mieszkańca: determinuje on poziom konsumpcji i rozwój ekonomiczny.
The principal subject of the study considered in the first part are the food consumptions problems in correlation with the Gross National Product per capita and with the productivity in agriculture (grain production) in three different groups of countries: in the European Union, in CEFTA and in the developing countries, especially in the least developed countries (LDC-s). In the second part of the study the authoress considers the problems and the effects of the "traditional green revolution" and "new green revolution" and their actual and potential influence on food consumption in the contemporary countries.
