- Celem artykułu jest prezentacja międzynarodowej, europejskiej instytucji finansowej Eurofirma - European Company for the Financing of Railroad Rolling Stock. Autor omawia cele i organizację Eurofirmy, zasady jej funkcjonowania, wykorzystywane instrumenty rynku finansowego i bankowego, efektywność oraz pozycję na międzynarodowym rynku finansowym. Współpraca międzynarodowa w Eurofirmie dotyczy jednocześnie kilku obszarów. Są to finanse, transport kolejowy i ochrona środowiska. Autor wskazuje na efektywne wykorzystanie takich instrumentów finansowych jak: waluty, obligacje, krótkoterminowe papiery dłużne, credit-rating, derywaty i gwarancje rządowe.
The aim of that article is a presentation of international, European financial institution - European Company for the Financing of Railroad Rolling Stock. The author presents the aims and organization of that company and rules of it functioning, used instruments of financial and banking market, efficiency and a position on international financial market. An international cooperation in European Company is mostly connected to finances, rail transport and environment protection. The author shows efficient using of such instruments as currency, bond, short-dated securities, credit rating, derivatives and government guarantees. (A.Ł.) - Accessibility
