- Autorka przedstawiła w zarysie genezę powstania fundacji w Polsce (1991), znaczenie jakie mają dla rozwoju nauki, oświaty czy sztuki, a także filantropii.
The origin and nature of foundations as well as the conditions of their functioning have been briefly presented. A foundation has been compared to the "perpetuum mobile" basing on its most essential feature - namely its ability to act independently and permanently. Both the conditions imposed by the fiscal system and the wealth level of the society in Poland do not favor the development of foundations. Nevertheless their flexibility, lack of routine and the possibility of quick change of subject make them an excellent tool accelerating the reforms and progress in the economy.
