- Autor analizuje poziom bezrobocia w Polsce w układzie regionalnym, stosując sposób obliczania stopy bezrobocia, której licznikiem jest liczba bezrobotnych, a mianownikiem liczba pracujących poza rolnictwem.
The same official unemployment rate in countries or regions having different economic structure (e.g. 30 procent or 3 procent employees in agriculture) seems quite another size of economic and social problems. It is necessary to use not only official unemployment rate but another one based on employment outside agriculture, too. The analysis of level of this new indicator for Polish regions leads to the conclusion that though urbanised areas became worse their position in comparison with official rate nevertheless the severest unemployment problem is in agricultural north-east part of Poland.
