- Przedstawiono strukturę obszarową gospodarstw w UE. Zwrócono uwagę na zróżnicowanie rolnictwa w UE pod względem struktury agrarnej, a także zatrudnienia w rolnictwie. W opracowaniu wykorzystano przede wszystkim dane z Powszechnego Spisu Rolnego GUS, a także dane z Komisji Europejskiej. (oryg. streszcz.)
The paper presents the agrarian structure and employment in agriculture in EU. Eurostat estimates that in the 15 countries EU were approximately 6,8 min million farms and 130,8 million hectares of utilized agricultural area in 20002. While the average farm size was estimated to be in the region of 19 hectares this was heavily influenced by the high number of small farms in countries, such as Greece, Italy and Portugal, where over 75% farms are less than 5 hectares. In contrast over 30% of holdings in the UK, Luxemburg, Denmark and France are over 50 hectares. (original abstract) - Accessibility
