- Abstract
- W artykule zaprezentowano sposoby działań bydgoskiego Rejonowego Urzędu Pracy, podjętych w celu aktywizacji bezrobotnych. Do najważniejszych należą: organizowanie prac interwencyjnych, organizowanie szkoleń i przekwalifikowań, udzielanie pożyczek na podjęcie działalności gospodarczej. Zwrócono również uwagę na występujące problemy finansowe samorządów lokalnych, które stanowią bardzo poważne ograniczenia w realizacji przyjętych projektów.
Basing on the activity of Employment Agency in the city of Bydgoszcz, the article, describing instruments and measures applied to fight unemployment, tries to answer the question about effectiveness of those measures. Due to scarcity of space, only the most important programmes implemented through the self-government by the employment agency were analysed. The results of reforms were presented against the background of binding legal regulations resulting from competence acts and the concerning the territorial division of the country.
