- Autor opisuje problem dotyczący integracji "wszerz" odnoszący się do integracji europejskiej. Proponuje zastosowanie osiągnięć jednej z gałęzi analizy statystycznej - taksonometrii dla utworzenia wspomnianego systemu. Artykuł zawiera także rezultaty badań przeprowadzonych w Polsce w latach 1994-1999 tj. od momentu dołączenia do procesu integracji do ukończenia jej pierwszego etapu.
The author refers to problems which significance is growing together with carried out process of European integration, particularly "crosswise" integration. The main issue is development of an objective monitoring system of the progress of the countries participating in the process. The author proposes appliance of achievements of one of branches of statistical analysis of multivariable objects, i.e. taxonomy, for construction of the mentioned system.
