- Celem autorki było przedstawienie zasad działania funduszy poręczeń kredytowych w Polsce i ich roli we wspieraniu przedsiębiorczości na tle innych form pomocy finansowej dla małych i średnich przedsiębiorstw oraz stworzenie założeń dla przyszłych działań naprawczych systemu poręczeń w Polsce.
Small and medium enterprises in Poland have difficult access to external capital because of very restricted bank policy in the field of SME. The source of the policy is limited range of functioning small and medium firms and automatically the highest risk connected with capital lend to the entrepreneurs. Despite of many financial products designated to firms of small and medium size in recent times the companies have still problems in gathering investment capital. One of the ways to overcome the obstacle is development of system of guaranties given by credit guarantee funds created by local public or private institutions. The funds usually guarantee 60-70% of the credit or loan. One article's objectives is to present the rules of operating the credit guarantee funds in Poland and their role in supporting entrepreneurship in the comparison with other activities associated with increasing access of small and medium enterprises to external sources of finance. The other goal of the article is to suggest the guidelines for future improvement of the system of guaranties. (original abstract) - Accessibility
