- Przedmiotem zainteresowania w artykule była grupa inwestorów bezpośrednich, tworzona przez osoby prywatne, angażujące się samodzielnie w działalność inwestycyjną na rynku venture capital. Inwestorzy indywidualni działają na zasadach bezpośrednich umów z przedsiębiorcami i wnoszą niekiedy ciche udziały. Nie ma oficjalnych statystyk ujmujących ich aktywność, stąd większość informacji w tym zakresie ma charakter szacunkowy i wycinkowy. Ten segment rynku venture capital jest zatem określony mianem nieformalnego. Jego rozmiary i tempo wzrostu wzbudzają coraz większe zainteresowanie oraz próby nadania mu pełnych ram instytucjonalnych.
As market venture capital develops it is subject to more and more larger diversification. One of its segments is investments made directly by private investors. Mentioned investors provide the enterprises not only with money capital, but also support them with management. There are huge difficulties to contact potential investor and businessman on this market because of investors endeavor to stay anonymous. The investors also have small possibilities of diversification of their investments. Solution of this problem is partly empowered by syndicates and "the angels of business". They support the process of investing as well as they contribute to enlarge the transparency of market. (original abstract) - Accessibility
