- Implementacja systemu wspomagającego pracę zespołową może usprawnić wiele standardowych czynności biurowych i administracyjnych wykonywanych przez pracowników akademickich. Wdrożenie systemu Lotus Notes może stanowić środowisko aplikacji, służącej do nauczania na odległość.
The article deals with the issues connected with the implementation of the systems supporting groupwork in a dependent as a basic organization unit of a university. The introduction presents the changes which have occurred recently in the theory and practice of management. The second part of the article describes the circumstances of groupwork computerization and basic areas of system applications supporting groupwork. Another part of the article characterizes a university department according to the tasks performed there showing which of them can be computerized. The fourth part includes a short functional description the most popular system supporting groupwork, i.e. Lotus Domino/Notes, and presents the stages the application of which makes the implementation of such a system in university department possible.
