- Opracowanie przedstawia powody dla których potrzebne są autostrady w systemie dróg publicznych w Polsce (głównie w aspekcie ich rozwoju). Autorka prezentuje dane dotyczące wzrastającego znaczenia transportu samochodowego równocześnie opisując niski rozwój sieci dróg w Polsce.
The paper has presented reasons for building motor ways in the system of public roads on Poland in the aspect of arguments in favour of their growth. Against the data concerning an increasing importance of car transportation and a rapid growth of motorization has the Author pointed out conditions for a low assessment of the network of the Polish road infrastructure and has presented indicators featuring modern public roads. Additionally, she has characterised assumptions connected with building of motor ways and express roads with consideration of problems related to environmental protection.
