- W artykule poruszono problem obsługi klienta przez przedsiębiorstwo PKP, oraz istniejące możliwości wykorzystania transportu kolejowego w łańcuchu logistycznym zasobów. Przedstawiono także zalety transportu kolejowego.
Problems discussed in the paper deal with servicing customers by the company PKP (Polish State Railways) and existing possibilities of including the railway carrier into the logistic chain of supplies. The advantages that may be used in shaping of the logistic servicing of business entities by railway transport are ecological values of railways, an extensive spatial accessibility and a relatively wide network of railway functions, a satisfactory, technically, traffic capacity of frontier crossings, and also high receptivity to implementation of modern technologies in transport.
