- Artykuł dotyczy problemów oceny wiedzy studentów w edukacji zdalnej. Omówiono program nauczania LearningSpace, wykorzystywany jako narzędzie do opracowywania i przeprowadzania kursów nauczania na odległość. Skoncentrowano się na formach egzaminów i ocenie uczestników, sformułowano również wskazówki dotyczące ocen w edukacji zdalnej.
Distance learning seems to be more and more attractive way of improving education in many fields. LearningSpace as an application of Lotus Notes offers very advanced environment to develop and put into practice courses that can train skills for different sorts of novices and professionals. Five specialised Lotus databases allow students to engage in problem solving activities, topical discussions, and classroom activities that incorporate the richness of group learning. One of them -the Assessments Manager is an evaluation module for instructors and students to evaluate progress in teaching incl. students' self-assessing. The paper aims to describe evaluation aspects of LearningSpace stressing advantages and disadvantages of the implemented techniques. We propose some guidelines useful in preparation and performance of tests, exams and the like. This way, interactiveness and self-assessing may improve the educational system. Two of the courses designed for MBA studies: "Business Plan Preparation" and "Information Technology and Management" illustrate usability of this environment. (original abstract) - Accessibility
