- Gmina Alwernia posiada dogodne warunki do rozwoju turystyki, ze szczególnym nastawieniem na obsługę turystów weekendowych z aglomeracji krakowskiej czy konurbacji górnośląskiej. Gmina Alwernia położona jest na terenie Garbu Tenczyńskiego oraz doliny górnej Wisły. Ze względu na bogactwo krajobrazu, gmina została włączona do strefy krajobrazu chronionego. Aktualne zagospodarowanie gminy wymaga uatrakcyjnienia i podniesienia standardu. Realizacja planów związanych z rozwojem funkcji turystycznej (rozbudowa istniejącej infrastruktury, Park Turystyki i Rozrywki w Nieporazie, "Pierścień Jurajski") stwarza ogromną szansę dla gminy. Rozwój gospodarczy omawianego terenu musi odbywać się zgodnie z zasadami ochrony środowiska.
Alwernia county is undisputable outstanding area for tourism and recreation development with particular attention to weekend touristy service from Cracovian agglomeration or Upper-Silesian conurbation. It is located on the area of Garb Tenczyński (southern part of Krakowsko-Częstochowska Upland) and the upper Vistula river valley (eastern part of Oświęcimska Dale). Because of the richness of the landscape, the county was included to protected landscape zone. Current management of the county still requires of make it attractive and raise the standard. The realization of the plans connected with the development of tourism function (the enlargement of existing infrastructure, Tourism and Entertainment Park in Nieporaz, "Jurassic Ring") gives great opportunity for the county. The economic development of described area has to go on with the accordance to environment protection rules. The protection of unique natural resources and cultural attractions of the county should not be forgotten. (original abstract) - Accessibility
