Italy - Abstract
- Struktura systemu finansowego Włoch stanowi pewna osobliwość na tle innych krajów europejskich. W artykule przedstawiono specyficzne cechy tego systemu oraz ewolucję systemu bankowego Włoch. Opisano również czynniki, mające wpływ na włoski system finansowy.
Transformation of banking systems occurs also in matured market economies. Italian banking system makes an example of the processes of integration with European market, deregulation and privatisation, as well as strategic changes intended to increase the competitiveness of banks. A comparative analysis of the effectiveness of this system, presented in this paper, could be an introduction to the more general comparative studies of the evolution of banking systems.
