- W opracowaniu podjęto próbę oceny możliwości produkcyjnych rolnictwa woj. podlaskiego w nawiązaniu do warunków siedliskowych i ekonomiczno-organizacyjnych.
Habitat conditions, area structure of farms and crop and animal production of Podlaskie voivodeship were analysed in the paper. In this voivodeship there are the worst habitat conditions (soil quality and agroclimate) in the country. Moreover it is characterised by very extensive agricultural practice (cereals have more than 75 % share in the cropping pattern) and small yields. Significant specialisation in dairy cattle breeding has been noted for last years in this area where high share of grassland gives the reason for that. Thanks to this direction in agricultural production the purchased value of crops is higher than the average in the whole country. Considering high natural advantages of this region (it belongs to area of Green Lungs of Poland) first of all agricultural systems that are environmental friendly should be supported, whereas after integration with EU agriculture of this region can in a wider range use money allocated for financing agro-environmental programs.
