- Celem opracowania było porównanie rolnictwa ekologicznego w Unii Europejskiej i w Polsce.
An idea of ecological agriculture came to Poland from the European Union where ecological methods are implemented by 130 290 homesteads (1,86 procent, on 3 7781 44 ha (2,81 procent . Ecological agriculture has opportunities of a large development in Poland too. It is favoured by more extensive character of present production and much lower level of environmental degradation. The evolution is possible because of the Law of Ecological Agriculture, passed in 2001, and also Decree, passed in 2002, which gives organizational-legal security for producers, as well as consumers. Basing on this, there has been elaborated Ecological Agricultural Development Strategy which forecast considerable increase of the number of ecological homesteads and combined surface of their husbandries. Efforts are also undertaken to about 30 procent of those homesteads, raised on legally protected areas. Subsidies to 1ha of cultivations, as well as to control costs are supposed encourage to rearrange homesteads on ecological methods. (original abstract) - Accessibility
