Abstract

The results of research carried out by many research centres throughout the world in the past few years have opened a wide range of new opportunities and technological solutions for the cosmetic industry. It became possible to increase the number of various active .components with a specific spectrum of activity on particular metabolic mechanisms and particular skin structures. In this work we present several examples of latest breakthroughs in global cosmetology and forms an attempt at illustrating the trends on the cosmetic market for the years to come.(original abstract)
