Abstract

The future success of the corporate social responsibility (CSR) implementation depends on the clarity related to the interlink between society and business. This paper argues that there are three different models of CSR in management based on the win-win strategy. It characterizes the various models: CSR as strategic philanthropy, CSR as dialogue with stakeholders, and CSR as the business contribution to sustainable development. In the course of discussion some arguments are presented in order to exploit these three models to achieve both competitive advantage in the market and wealth creation in the society.
