- Trudno jest oceniać zarządzania w polskich przedsiębiorstwach abstrahując od zjawisk, jakie niesie ze sobą globalizacja. W tym świetle bezpośrednie inwestycje zagraniczne (BIZ) są głównym katalizatorem umiędzynarodowienia gospodarki i źródłem określonych zmian w zarządzaniu małymi i średnimi przedsiębiorstwami.
It is hard to assess the management in Polish enterprises appropriate and not to mention the globalisation. In this light foreign direct investment (FDI) is the main catalyst of internationalisation of management. Therefore, it can influence the small and medium business. Enterprises from emerging and developing countries such as Poland are principally unable to take full advantage of the sewere fight for the market with foreign companies. In order to survive, local enterprises have to meet technological demands, raise the quality and efficiency of work, spend financial resources on research on their products/services and train their staff. Entrepreneurs face new challenges in the field of management. Many aspects that call for the increasing amount of work appear there as well. The presence of the FDI can result in the growth of their competitiveness and, paradoxically, hinder the development, as well. It is nearly impossible to anticipate the direction of this influence on the SME. In this respect, the more various the experience of developed countries, the more significant the issue of the FDI and the management in local enterprises. (original abstract) - Accessibility
