Abstract
W ostatnich dziesięciu latach znacznie wzrosło zainteresowanie inwestorów produktami strukturyzowanymi. W większości przypadków przedstawia się je jako instrument który może zdywersyfikować tradycyjny portfel inwestycyjny. Celem artykułu było zbadanie, czy inwestowanie w indeksy odzwierciedlające różne aktywa, w szczególności inwestycje alternatywne (najczęściej wykorzystywana grupa instrumentów bazowych w produktach strukturyzowanych), umożliwia inwestorowi dywersyfikację tradycyjnego portfela inwestycyjnego. This paper presents the possibilities of using structured products as a possible diversifiers of traditional investment portfolio. The main goal of this article is an analysis of the correlation between major financial assets (represented by indexes, which can always be used in structured products). The author also uses some alternative investments to confirm if this group of assets may improve portfolio performance. (original abstract)
