Abstract

Celem artykułu była analiza mechanizmu funkcjonowania usług zdrowotnych. W artykule przedstawiono etyczne i ekonomiczne aspekty podejmowania decyzji finansowych w opiece zdrowotnej, mechanizm działania budżetu globalnego na rynku usług zdrowotnych oraz rodzaje opłat za usługi medyczne.

The use of proper set of health care finance mechanisms is one of the key elements which determine the success or failure in an efficient management of health care system. The system creates a sort of a "play field" between health care institutions as service assistants and disponents of the means for health care as payers to shape the financial risk for both sides. These elements have an impact on the level of health care cost, institution running effectiveness, the quality of service, its availability etc. Every mechanism of health care finance includes a determination of two crucial parameters: payment basis and a unit sum.(original abstract)
