Abstract
Scharakteryzowano obszary motywów skłaniających jednostki do współdziałania w ramach sieci wiedzy.

Organizations have now to cope with the increasing internationalization of business forcing the collaboration and knowledge sharing across time and distance at the same time. A new approach to knowledge sharing are virtual community based on knowledge management systems such as Lave and Wenger's Communities of Practice (CoPs). A key factor for increased interaction and knowledge sharing within community of practice is strong and honest participation of its members. The paper presents key motivators grouped into three broad areas: self development, sense of belonging and reputation development using Zarb's Delphi study conducted to test the relevance and relative importance of these factors.
