- W opracowaniu autorka prezentuje wiele interesujących danych liczbowych ilustrujących znaczenie MSP w gospodarce narodowej. Następnie przedstawia i analizuje bariery i trudności rozwojowe tych przedsiębiorstw w latach 1995-1999. Wreszcie, określa kierunki działania rządu wobec MSP na lata 1995-2003 oraz stara się ocenić sposób ich realizacji i wpływ na funkcjonowanie badanych przedsiębiorstw. (abstrakt oryginalny)
In the analysed period of time between 1995-2000 the number of entities in SMEs has systematically increased. An increase in employment in this group of companies and an increase in their participation to create the GDP, was also observed in the same period of time. In the years 1998-2000 their participation in GDP has been monitored constantly. It indicates that in this sector the possibilities of progress are limited, in spite of the systematic increase in their participation in the capital expenditure in comparison to other companies and a relatively big participation in import. The serious limitations in the field of demand and supply result from the above mentioned situation. In order to neutralise these undesirable tendencies and to support the activity of SMEs in the years 1995-2002, the Polish Government has prepared and implemented two programs of policy relating to SMEs. The third program has been made for the years 2003-2006. It seems to be very purposeful to implement into practice the ongoing simulation of the effects of their activities undertaken and to estimate their real influence on SMEs' functioning.
