- Abstract
- The planning or regional proportions of agricultural production by means of the econometric method is the subject of investigation of S. Wacławowicz. The elaboration of an econometric model for the question of the regional proportions of agricultural production is the basic problem undertaken by the author. The necessity of constructing a table which might illustrate these phenomena from the point of view of branch and space results from the fact that in many cases practical planning disturbs the equilibrium of the spatial distribution of the factors of production. The model of a table of regional proportions of agricultural production is introduced by the author with the aim of representing these relations in the form of possibly simple but also strictly accurate balances. The theoretical model was the subject of investigation of the author and was verified in a practical manner, taking the voivodeship of Kraków as an example. The model of the proportion of agricultural production is composed of three parts. The first part concerns the consumption of production of each branch - i - in the region j. The second part comiprises the magnitude of the final product in a branch and space section, while the third presents the global amount of production of each branch in a particular region. A model constructed in this manner enabled the author to present: a balance of the branch proportions of the region, a balance of the regional proportion of the production of different branches and a regional balance of man-power.
