- Abstract
- From the tools which mathematical analysis offers economic, natural and agricultural sciences the analysis of regression and correlation is of great importance. The application of these tools in practice is connected with great difficulties because they require the knowledge of the theory of higher mathematics. On this account the author presents a new analytical method relying on the elimination of troublesome calculations which are connected with regression analysis. In the course of action proposed by the author the knowledge of the matrix analysis and of the least-squares method becomes superfluous as well as the solving of the ordinary equations and differential and integral calculations. All these operations have been replaced by the author by a system of auxiliary coefficients arrayed in special tables. The utilization of these auxiliary coefficients in the analysis of regression is presented by the author on the example of: a) the linear analysis of regression, b) the curvilinear (parabolic and hyperbolic) analysis of regression. Exemplary data quoted in the article make possible quick adoptation of the method presented by the author. (original abstract)
