- Podstawowym celem badania było określenie świadomości ubezpieczeniowej rolników zamieszkujących wybraną gminę. Dodatkowo celem pobocznym było rozpoznanie problemów, jakie mają rolnicy przy podejmowaniu decyzji o ubezpieczeniu. (fragment tekstu)
The main goal of this article is to measure insurance awareness of the farmers living in the selected community. In order to achieve it, a special research survey has been created and carried out among food producers. The questions mainly concerned basic knowledge of the products of Fered as well as the concept of insurance which is a fundamental part of insurance awareness. This article shows the farmers' knowledge of insurers and pinpoints those with whom insurance contracts are signed most frequently. It also indicates how insurance is perceived and understood. The last part of the article reveals an urgent need of introducing widespread free insurance education. The investigated members of the community, being aware of numerous risk factors in the process of food production, realise that insurance can be the optimal way of risk management.
