Abstract
The development of sustainable tourism has focused a great deal of attention on the potential causes of this state of affairs. The article presents the essence and character of environmental technologies, and holds them up as one of the key aspects of environmental protection for guaranteeing tourist destinations, as well as the tourism companies that are active in them, greater competitiveness.(original abstract)
