Abstract

Japan is famous for its great devotion to tradition, culture that is deeply rooted in history, and its significant impact on the world of work. Currently, globalization and increasing competition have had an impact on Japanese labor practices and human resources management. The objective of this paper is to provide an overall illustration of the scope and direction of changes in the field of remuneration, shown against a backdrop of the problems facing HRM. This analysis is based on what may be termed existing data-statistical data and research reports published by researchers. (original abstract)
