Chicago - Abstract
- Przedstawione w artykule rozważania dotyczą analizy zmiany "jakościowej" dzielnic Chicago, które miały istotny wpływ na lokalny rynek nieruchomości mieszkalnych. Analiza pozwoli się również zastanowić, czy pozostawienie mieszkania w "polskiej" dzielnicy i czerpanie z niego pożytków w postaci czynszu najmu było właściwą decyzją inwestycyjną. (fragment tekstu)
For many Polish immigrants, Chicago is the first place of residence in the USA, frequently in a "Polish" neighborhood. Over half of the population of these neighborhoods is of Polish heritage, and the price of real estate allows emigrants to purchase a home after only a few years abroad. The process of moving to a neighborhood of higher social status did not always correlate with the sale of real estate in the "Polish" neighborhood, even though investors did not realize the potential of properties in these neighborhoods at the beginning of the 1990s. This article considers an analysis of the changes in the quality of life in certain neighborhoods of Chicago, which had a definite effect on the local real estate market. The analysis also allowed a deduction, whether staying in the "Polish" neighborhood and capitalizing on its advantages was a good investment decision. (original abstract) - Accessibility
