Malaysia - Abstract
- W artykule dokonano analizy specyfiki prowadzenia działań public relations w azjatyckich krajach rozwijających się. Z uwagi na odmienność warunków otoczenia strategie komunikowania buduje się w nich inaczej niż w krajach europejskich. Na przykładzie kampanii rządowych przeprowadzonych w Malezji od początku lat 60. XX wieku można wyodrębnić czynniki determinujące skuteczność określonych narzędzi komunikowania - komunikowania na rzecz rozwoju (development communication) i budowania tożsamości i jedności narodu (nation building) - w procesie wspierania zmian gospodarczych. W pracy autor stara się udzielić odpowiedzi na pytanie, czy rządowe kampanie PR pozytywnie wpływają na rozwój gospodarczy kraju rozwijającego się. (abstrakt oryginalny)
This article shows the Public Relations tools which are used in developing countries in Asia. Due to different standards and surroundings, communication must be handled in a specific way. To better understand those PR tools which are typical for developing countries in Asia's - nation building, state building and development communication, the author shows the example of Public Relations campaign in Malaysia. The purpose of this article is to check if government Public Relations practices have a positive influence on the economic growth of a developing country. (original abstract) - Accessibility
