Abstract
Obecnie coraz większego znaczenia nabiera problem efektywności na poziomie organizacji, analizowany pod kątem tworzenia wartości. W ślad za tym rodzą się wątpliwości dotyczące nie tylko istoty efektywności organizacji, ale również tego, jak mierzyć efektywność organizacyjną w sposób właściwy? Artykuł poświęcony jest ustaleniu możliwych podejść do definiowania efektywności, jak również określeniu roli, jaką ona odgrywa w prowadzonych badaniach empirycznych. Prezentowany jest przegląd badań nad zależnością pomiędzy efektywnością a wynagrodzeniami, tym bardziej, że problematyka wynagrodzeń stanowi przedmiot zarówno naukowego zainteresowania jak i praktycznego zastosowania.(abstrakt oryginalny)

Currently the problem of organizationał performance anałyzed from the perspective of vałue creation gets more importance with time. As a result some doubts appeared as to both the essence of organizationał performance and a proper performance measurement. This articłe focuses on possible approaches to define organizationał performance and its role in empirical research being carried out. Moreover, this study presents literaturę review on research conceming the relationship between compensation and firm performance, as the problem of compensation is the subject of both academic in-terest and practicał appłication.(original abstract)
