- Abstract
- Postęp technologiczny napędzający gospodarki światowe i zmieniający życie ludzi powoli przybiera nowe oblicze.
In B2B model, complex IT services are provided in a network of subsequent sup-pliers creating value added. From companies' viewpoint, an IT service is provided more often by external providers or by shared services providers in an offshore model. The IT infrastructure, platform and software may be provided as an IT service as well as full computer systems support for business processes. An information service is delivered in the quantity ordered, at an agreed unit price and in accordance with the requested parameters. An IT service recipient does not need to distinguish between its elements. For him, the most important are three determinants of IT services competitiveness: value added, the delivery guarantee (continuity) by providing quality (the parameters of the delivered service), unit cost. The article describes basic characteristics of information services and how they are provided on B2B market, taking into account the determinants of competitiveness. Information necessary to prepare the article comes from a literature study and from an observation of IT services delivery under B2B process in a branch of global large company, located in Poland.(original abstract) - Accessibility
