High labour costs are main cause of the high rate of unemployment in Poland. Labour costs include not only gross wage earnings with income tax plus employee social security contributions but also employer social security contributions and contributions on some public funds. The purpose of this article is to study the structure of labour costs in Poland depending on the height of the gross wage earnings. Following it contains the comparison of the labour costs in OECD countries. (original abstract) - Accessibility
