- Abstract
- The medium- to long-term export supplier's credits with the usual due date of several years are one of the most important marketing instruments when exporting investment goods and investment units particularly. Employers of the projects await that the contractor is able to offer, besides the technical design, also the design of financing which often becomes the decisive criterion for awarding the contract in the tender procedure. But fulfillment of the customer's requirement for "custom-made" financing of the project leads to occurrence of a number of cost items on the exporter's side which would not arise in case of non-credit payment terms. As share of these costs of financing in the project value usually reaches 20% or even higher values, their detailed analysis and consideration when calculating price of the subject of export is inevitable. The paper is focused on presentation of the calculation model of the costs of financing applicable by the exporters utilizing the current system of state-supported export financing in the Czech Republic.
