Abstract
The article presents the results of studies conducted among teachers in seven primary schools in Lodz on factors affecting the construction of job satisfaction. The results show that both women and men perceive that their level of job satisfaction is dependent on four factors: leadership and institutional support received from school, working conditions, including working time and access to internal school resources, as well as prevailing in the institution human relationships.
