- Celem opracowania jest ocena wpływu zróżnicowanej wydajności pracy na pozycję eksportową Niemiec i Stanów Zjednoczonych w światowym handlu towarowym w latach 1995-2010. W artykule wykorzystane zostały dane statystyczne z baz: EU KLEMS (sektorowa wydajność pracy), The Conference Board Database (całkowita wydajność pracy), AMECO (jednostkowe koszty pracy), UNCTAD (udziały rynkowe), OECD i COMTRADE (indeksy ujawnionej przewagi komparatywnej), które posłużyły do obliczenia niezbędnych w analizie wskaźników. Differences in labour productivity are the main factor determining the export specialization of a country and its competitive position in international trade. In case of Germany the link between sectoral diversification of labour productivity and revealed comparative advantage is strong. In the United States the Balassa indexes get the highest values in high-productivity sectors but this high labour productivity does not go in pair with the strengthening of the US market positions. Among the main reasons of that situation one can indicate an increase in unit labour costs and a very similar structure of exports to China's exports. (original abstract) - Accessibility
