- Stargard Szczeciński jest trzecim co do wielkości, liczby mieszkańców i potencjału gospodarczego miastem województwa zachodniopomorskiego o liczbie około 70 tys. mieszkańców, położonym nad rzeką Iną w odległości 40 km od granicy państwa, 36 km od Szczecina, 180 km od Berlina i 120 km od terminalu promowego w Świnoujściu. Stargard Szczeciński jest ważnym węzłem komunikacyjnym. Przez miasto prowadzi 98 km dróg, w tym 30 km dróg lokalnych; zbiega się tu pięć linii kolejowych, z czego najważniejsze to połączenia ze Szczecinem, Poznaniem i Gdańskiem .W mieście funkcjonuje 8011 przedsiębiorstw, z czego 7 194 stanowią mikroprzedsiębiorstwa.(fragment tekstu)
The administration of the communes leading the active policy of supporting the development of enterprises, using the different instruments concerning: the starting and operating facilitations, public help and tax instruments. The article presents the way, in which the transportation micro-enterprises perceive the influence of such instruments as well as why they prefer and use more often some of these instruments (totally omitting the others). The need of more active work of government and non - governmental institution has also been indicated. Such activity could bring the higher awareness of the entrepreneurs of transport sector in utilization of already existing instruments.(author's abstract) - Accessibility
