- Przedmiotem tego artykułu jest przede wszystkim charakterystyka realnych procesów gospodarczych jako składników logistyki, ich współczesnych tendencji rozwojowych, nie zaś rozpatrywanie koncepcji i uogólnień teoretycznych będących treścią wiedzy ekonomicznej. Oczywiście również w sferze teorii możemy odnotować obecnie wiele nowych koncepcji, które kształtują nowe horyzonty logistyki w sferze nauk ekonomicznych, a także nauk o zarządzaniu. Many years now there have been observed dynamic changes in the real and information logistic processes. These changes occur under the influence of globalisation of economic connections, new challenges in the sphere of competition, and technical progress, which enables spread of new solutions in logistics. Within the contemporary tendencies in the development of logistics as a sphere of real economic processes, the following directions of major importance can be observed:- -The development of logistic processes and increase in their efficiency are favoured by integration processes in the world economy which cause obliteration of customs barriers, unification and standardization of products, procedures, and information.
- - The basic link in logistic processes is an enterprise. The leading characteristic of an enterprise is integration of particular functions of logistic processes and wide spread of modern logistic conceptions. Integration of logistic processes in an enterprise is realized parallelly with the creation and development of specialized enterprises which render wide range of services in logistics: transport, forwarding, storing, information services etc.
- - Nowadays there is taking place dynamic technical progress in the sphere of transport, storing, administrative costs, and packages, which makes possible efficient realization of the flow of supply, proper protection of stock-in-trade, shorterning of transport-storing procedures duration.
- - The application of computer technology is becoming more and more common, both in steering the real logistic processes and in information and decision-making systems.
