- Współczesne wyzwania, takie jak globalizacja, dążenie do zmniejszenia dysproporcji w rozwoju regionalnym, rozwój zrównoważony czy innowacyjność stawiają nowe zadania przed transportem. Transport odgrywa ważną rolę w kształtowaniu tych tendencji, a jednocześnie wyzwania te wyznaczają kierunki rozwoju transportu. Celem artykułu jest pokazanie współzależności między rozwojem transportu a rozwojem regionalnym i ich konsekwencji na przykładzie Polski. (fragment tekstu)
Contemporary challenges, such as globalization, aiming to reduce disparities in regional development, sustainable development and innovation puts new tasks before transport. Transport plays an important role in shaping these trends and at the same time these challenges determine the directions of transport development. The aim of this article is to show the correlation between the development of transport in regional development and their consequences in Poland. The article shown in the background of: - the impact of globalization on socio-economic development and EU cohesion policy, and - the impact of transport on regional development and competitiveness of EU regions the role of transport in regional development in Poland.
