Abstract
Postępujący w Polsce proces starzenia się społeczeństwa stał się jednym z ważniejszych problemów naukowych, politycznych i społecznych. Pomiędzy 1989 a 2013 r. ilość dzieci w ogóle społeczeństwa spadła o ponad 11 punktów procentowych, zaś ilość osób w wieku poprodukcyjnym wzrosła o niemal osiem punktów procentowych (Główny Urząd Statystyczny [GUS] 2014: 3-4). W 2014 r. osoby w wieku poprodukcyjnym stanowiły 19% ogólnej liczby ludności (GUS 2015: 16). Przewiduje się, że udział osób starszych wyniesie 21,7% ogólnej liczby ludności w roku 2025 oraz 32,7% w roku 2050 (GUS 2014: 35). Z uwagi na wzrost ilości osób starszych w społeczeństwie ważne jest przyjrzenie się i określenie postaw dotyczących seniorów.(fragment tekstu)

The study investigates attitudes toward elderly people in group of high school and university students (N=288). The Attitudes Toward Old Persons Scale by Kogan was applied, showing neutral attitudes toward elderly. Authors analyze differences between students educational level and sex. Factor analyses and cluster analyses models indicated three patterns of attitudes and showed three typical profile attitudes toward elderly.(author's abstract)
