Abstract
Celem artykułu jest szczegółowa analiza wskazanych w literaturze przedmiotu przyczyn powstawania efektu biczu i wpływu tego zjawiska na funkcjonowanie całego łańcucha logistycznego. (fragment tekstu)

The article is about arising undisirable phenomenon in supply chains. It shows the problems with managing the flows in the group of connected companies that have to carry on trade. The aim of this article is to show the difficulties in doing business in a particular supply chain, specially the problem of bullwhip effect that consists in magnifying from stage to stage the variation of demand. The article contains detailed cause analysis of bullwhip effect, its impact on the whole supply chain and the ways of reducing the undesirable effect. (original abstract)
