Szczecin - Abstract
- Celem pracy jest ocena wybranych aspektów atrakcyjności turystycznej Szczecina pod kątem możliwości rozwoju turystyki wodnej oraz przedstawienie uwarunkowań, mogących mieć istotny wpływ na rozwój żeglarstwa w granicach administracyjnych Szczecina na Jeziorze Dąbie i Odrze wraz z jej nurtami i kanałami. Badaniem metodą sondażu diagnostycznego objęto 188 respondentów, w tym 54 kobiety. W pracy posłużono się też analizą SWOT, wykonaną na podstawie danych z materiałów internetowych 2014-2015 (...).(fragment tekstu)
The aim of this study is to analyze and evaluate the tourist attractiveness of Szczecin in the point of view of the qualified tourism with particular emphasis on sailing. On the base of the assessment a detailed characterization of tourism values is presented, in terms of the qualified tourism conditions, which may influence the development of tourism in Szczecin. According to the assumptions of the work the analysis of tourist infrastructure is done, with particular emphasis on conditions for sailing. An assessment of tourist attractiveness and strategic potential of Szczecin agglomeration is performed by using the method of polling and SWOT. The research by method of anonymous questionnaire was carried out among a group of 188 respondents, including 54 women. The data collected for the assessment of the attractiveness of Szczecin, in the opinion of residents and tourists, allowed making a SWOT analysis using internal and external conditions for the development of Szczecin. The SWOT analysis confirmed that the sailing, as part of the tourism market of Szczecin, has a chance to become a determinative stimulus of socio-economic development of the city and its brand in the "Floating Garden in 2050" framework. The potential of Szczecin, including a large attractiveness of its area requires the undertaken of many activities of a systemic character, particularly changes in management strategy of tourism.(original abstract) - Accessibility
