Abstract
W pierwszej części artykułu przedstawione zostały podstawowe założenia neoweberowskiej koncepcji państwa. Następnie omówiono charakter ewolucji podejścia do definiowania polityki przemysłowej w kontekście założeń wspomnianej koncepcji. Badania pokazały, iż najlepsza sytuacja w zakresie uwarunkowań i efektów polityki przemysłowej dotyczyła grupy państw określonych mianem rynkowo zorientowanych/urynkawiających (NZP), nieco gorzej radziły sobie państwa z grupy partycypacyjnych modernizatorów (NWS(p)), a najsłabiej państwa określone mianem menedżersko zorientowanych modernizatorów (NWS(m))(abstrakt oryginalny)

Basic assumptions of neoweberian state concept are presented in the first part of the article. Next the nature of the evolution of approaches to defining industrial policy in the context of neoweberian state is described. The aim of the research which results are presented in the empirical part is to examine which type of neoveberian states distinguished in the classification of Pollitt and Bouckaert [2004/2011] has better indicators in terms of wider determinants and effects of the industrial policy. The period of analysis is between 2008-2014 i.e. taking into account the response to the global crisis of 2008. Research has shown that the best situation in terms of conditions and the effects of industrial policy concerns the countries referred to New Public Management marketizers, slightly worse states of the group of participatory modernizers and the least states termed managerial oriented modernizers. It has to be noted, however, that the observed differences are relatively small, which does not allow for the formulation of clear conclusions in terms of the impact of the adopted categories of states, and the range of conditions and the effects of industrial policy(original abstract)
