- Celem artykułu jest zaprezentowanie idei tworzenia dwustopniowych studiów będących konsekwencją procesu bolońskiego. Równorzędnym celem jest przedstawienie charakterystyk kandydatów na studia II stopnia na Wydziale Finansów i Ubezpieczeń Uniwersytetu Ekonomicznego w Katowicach.(fragment tekstu)
One of the primary objectives of the Bologna process was the introduction of two-tier structure. The first step was addressed to a wide audience. A second degree, in turn, was addressed primarily to people who have a job and these studies aimed to raise qualifications compatible with the job to be performed. The idea has not proved to be in Polish realities. This was due to the perception that the completion of the Bachelor is incomplete higher education. This may be indicative of the fact that over 90% of people who have completed a first degree after obtaining the Bachelor or engineer title took studies at Master's degree. Wide access to studies in the second degree, not necessarily consistent with the direction of study undertaken at the first step, caused the need to adapt the programme of studies to those who were not familiar with basis of the economics.
