Abstract
The current educational practices and modern teaching trends heavily influence the attitudes and views on current problems of education and training. Slovak educational and training system for several years looking for different ways and verifies its transformation into a modern democratic system of Western European type in which the child is irreplaceable from different family backgrounds. In a wider context this is a fundamental paradigm shift, that is a change of key assumptions and principles of educational policy, changing the overall philosophy and understanding of education and training(original abstract)
