- Abstract
- Przedmiotem rozważań w niniejszym artykule jest sytuacja finansowa odzwierciedlona w bilansie jednostki, a w szczególności jej wrażliwość na wpływ jednej z podstawowych kategorii finansowych - rezerw. W artykule przedstawiono, obok krótkich rozważań teoretycznych, wyniki badania empirycznego przeprowadzonego dla spółek publicznych notowanych na warszawskiej giełdzie w latach 1996-2001. This paper presents the results of the research investigating the influence of the reserves on entities' financial situation. The research has been carried out on the base of financial statements of the public company traded on the Warsaw Stock Exchange that have being made research sample. The aim of the research has been to achieve empirical quantitative data describing a share of the reserves in the structure of the entities' liabilities. Authors have measured the relation between reserves and net assets, total payable amounts and total assets and also they have analyzed the structure of reserves (sensu stricto) disclosed in financial statements.
