Germany - Abstract
- W artykule przeanalizowano zmiany wartości importu i eksportu Niemiec - jednego z najbardziej aktywnych krajów pod względem udziału w handlu międzynarodowym. Podjęto w nim także rozważania na temat przyczyn i skutków nadwyżki w bilansie handlowym Niemiec, notowanej od 1952 roku. Artykuł składa się z następujących części: omówienia struktury handlu zagranicznego Niemiec, analizy bilansu handlowego tego kraju i konsekwencji utrzymywania jego nadwyżki dla innych krajów oraz sposobów jej zmniejszenia. Z przeprowadzonych badań wynika, iż Niemcy są gospodarką wyraźnie nastawioną na eksport, co prowadzi do zachwiania równowagi w handlu międzynarodowym, a jednym z powodów tego stanu rzeczy jest niechęć do zwiększania importu i inwestycji, czego domagają się od Niemiec ich partnerzy handlowi.(abstrakt oryginalny)
The purpose of this paper is to analyze the import and export changes of Germany - one of the most active countries in international trade. Moreover, the reasons and effects of surpluses in German trade balance since 1952 have been also scrutinized. The paper consists of following parts: presentation of German foreign trade composition, analyze of German trade balance, discussion concerning trade surplus maintenance consequences for other countries and solutions leading to its mitigation. The conducted research has revealed that strongly export oriented German economy is also a factor that leads to imbalance in international trade through the lack of willingness to increase import and investment, what is demanded from Germany by its trade partners.(original abstract) - Accessibility
