- Abstract
- Scharakteryzowano konkurencyjność oraz innowacyjność regionów. Analizując poziom konkurencyjności wykorzystano sieci neuronowe, natomiast do pomiaru siły i kierunku wpływu innowacyjności regionów na ich konkurencyjność posłużono się modelowaniem równań strukturalnych.
The object of the paper is an attempt to quantify the influence of innovation in regions onto their competitiveness. Two methods were used: neural network (in their regression function) to identify the factors of competitiveness from the sphere of innovation, as well as modelling of structural equations, as a procedure of qualification of the relationship between directly non-measurable variables (latent variables) - innovation and competitiveness. The results prove the usefulness of those procedures in the evaluation of the relationship between analysed phenomena. (original abstract) - Accessibility
