Abstract
Światowa globalizacja nadal trwa, zaś dysproporcje rozwojowe w rolnictwie znacznie się zwiększyły (odnośnie do produkcji płodów rolnych), toteż Ukraina musi zmienić swe wcześniejsze podejście do rozwoju rolnictwa.

Since achieving Ukraine independence in 1991 progress in reforms of agriculture has lagged behind targets and social-economic aspirations. The world's globalization is still continuing and developmental disproportions in agriculture have increased significantly (to crop production), so Ukraine has to change its previous approaches of agricultural development. This challenge requires great knowledge concerning future results, establishing goals, and preparing solution scenarios if the state want to be an important player on the world food market. The main goal of the article is to present the situation in the Ukraine's agriculture, but it is also an attempt to present a wider perspective on both the achievements and shortcomings in the process of reforms.
